“Whoever wants to know something about me – as an artist which alone is significant – they should look attentively at my pictures and there seek to recognize what I am and what I want.”

Klimt Experience – La Mostra

In the prestigious location of Royal Palace of Caserta from June 7 to October 31 Klimt Experience, a new production by Crossmedia Group and  organized by Gestshow.

Klimt’s figures and landscapes are the protagonists of this new interactive immersive exhibition dedicated to the founding father of the Vienna Secession.

Works such as The Kiss, The Tree of Life, or Judith have become part of popular culture, but Klimt is still an artist to be discovered and recounted. This is the aim of this exhibition project: to thrill, fascinate, and amaze visitors young and old, inviting them to become better acquainted with the man and the artist, to understand his works, and to learn to interpret his style thanks to the spectacular display of details and his pictorial technique.

Klimt Experience proposes a total immersion in the Viennese artist’s world. The soundtrack played by a state-of-the-art Dolby surround system, the extraordinary evocative power of the 700 selected images, and the 3D reconstructions of early 20th century Vienna will produce unique emotions in visitors. The visual impact of the images transmitted by the Matrix X-Dimension system, designed especially for this video installation, is exceptional: 30 laser projectors transmit over 40 million pixels to the installation’s giant screens ensuring a definition greater than Full HD.

The didactic introductive area is fitted with multimedia educational touch screen tables and Oculus Samsung Gear VR for an immersive virtual reality experience inside the most famous Gustav Klimt’s masterpieces.
